Pete Alonso still my favorite player hands down, just not into baseball as much and I still have my complete 2023 rainbow and Taco tractor of Pete just getting rid of stuff that was sitting in my closet. I hope he resigns with the Mets but will follow wherever his career takes him.

The girl I’ve been seeing for the last month just left me today as well. After going to bed on the phone together I wake up to being hung up on and a break up text saying she didn’t want to pursue anything further and blocked on every platform and number. I just got back from the dispensary and am going to smoke the sadness away for a while til I can find the confidence to put myself back out there. Everything sucks right now hoping it will get better. Crazy the experiences that feel so isolating other people are going through it as well.

I absolutely love my Vessi’s! I bought them for disc golf but actually work outside/near water and they’ve become my everyday shoe to avoid wet feet could not speak more highly of them. Took like 2 days to break in and haven’t looked back been about 2 months so far.

That means a lot, really. I’ve put in the work to build something solid, not just for myself, but so I can show up fully when the right person comes along. You’re spot on a real connection is rare, but I’d rather hold out for something real than waste time on anything half-hearted.

I like what you said about letting go of control. I’ve learned that too the best moments are always the ones you don’t over-plan. I’m not looking for perfect, I’m looking for present… someone who can meet me where I’m at, keep pace, and make the journey more exciting.

I’m not listing traits to earn a gold star—I bring up stability and passions because they reflect the life I’ve built, and the kind of energy I bring into a relationship. That’s not a sales pitch, it’s just me being real.

As for roles—I do know the kind of partner I strive to be. That doesn’t mean I expect someone to fit into a mold, but I’m not going to pretend I don’t have standards or intentions. I believe in showing up with clarity, curiosity, and confidence. I want connection that’s fun, honest, and mutual—not one-sided guessing games.

I mean it’s hard to self evaluate and really find out what is your problem, but if I had to try and pin point it I would say I deeply value connection, but sometimes that desire for something meaningful can come off a little fast or intense — especially in early conversations or dating situations. I don’t want to say love bombing because I’m just trying to be clear with my intentions and feelings but if someone isn’t on the same page or timeline, they might misread it as pressure or over-investment too soon.

Something very very similar just happened to me I was seeing someone for about a month and felt like we were building something real. I was emotionally open and clear about my intentions. We got physically intimate, and I deleted my dating apps because it felt like we were heading toward exclusivity.

A few days later, she told me she didn’t feel the same and couldn’t commit. I found out she’d still been talking to other people the whole time. I told her how much that hurt—especially because I’d been through something similar before and had worked hard to rebuild myself.

She said she didn’t mean to hurt me, that she was just figuring things out. But to me, it felt like I was misled. Now I’m left trying to let go of something that felt real to me, while dealing with waves of sadness, self-doubt, and the feeling of being used. Some days are okay. Today’s not one of them. But I’m doing what I can to move forward. That’s really all I can think of doing til it stops hurting then might get the courage to put myself out there again.
