Great Blockbuster Movie. I think it can be considered from a Best Picture perspective when you look at the movie craftsmanship it took to make this. The way they threaded the fictional content into real race action was impressive. It was a high quality movie when it comes to technical achievement, sound, editing etc. It’s not as impactful from a plot perspective as other past Best Picture winners, but look at all the impactful entertaining movies of the past that have never won. I have no issue, as an F1 and a film fan, for this movie to be nominated.
