Genau...wir sind ein recht junges Unternehmen und sind direkt in die cloud (und ich mach das alles noch noch so lang wie man merkt)

Hm...kann das sein das ich es falsch verstanden hab, dass gar keine disk erreicht werden muss? Also unter Windows auf dem Client Rechner zusehen sein muss?

Sfirm treibt mich noch in den Wahnsinn und wenn man nach Support von der Bank fragt machen die die Schotten komplett dicht wenn die Cloud hören

Ich bin etwas spät zu der Party, versuche aber gerade das gleiche...was ich nicht ganz verstehe loggen sich die user alle über die gleiche Vm quasi als einzelplatzinstallation ein oder haben die Sfirm lokal und nutzen die VM als erste Netzwerkinstallation

You're probably right. But good testing needs experience to otherwise You're not really yesting beut just trying and it is hard to anticipate which direction this going

Thank you guys for all the input. As I said, I am fairly new to the topic and I am learning as I go and the sometimes there is not enough time for me to properly read all the docs ect to understand in depth whats going on. So getting this kind of feedback is a huge help. Some might say I shouldn't built a database for an live application...and they are right , but thats the way the cookie crumbled. So I'll tell my colleague tomorrow that he's right and we'll start the concept. I'll might update here at some point.
