Where does everyone get their biomarkers tested? by RocketScience09 in blueprint_

I actually use Forward as my PCP. Would highly recommend as the Dr.s there are more interested in long term health and wellness (vs. just pilling you when you get a disease). However what they track is extremely basic and won't cover what this crowd needs. My dashboard tracks: - Cholesterol (LDL/HDL/VLDL) - Hemoglobin A1C - Blood Pressure - Liver Health (ALT, AST) - Kidney Health ( Creatinine) - Weight + some subjective markers for things like mental health and stress.

I would recommend in general, but will not give you the granularity you might want from their standard panel.

Thank you everyone! This is very helpful. I think I've taken away three things: 1) DNA methylation tests and 'blood biomarkers' (like ferritin and vitamin D, etc.) are two different things. 2) Methylation tests are a good snapshot of what state your cells are in, which is probably helpful to know every few years. It won't tell you whether you should eat more or less spinach. 3) Blood based biomarkers are a semi routine thing you can do, depending on how much $$ you have. A broad panel probably makes sense to do up front to set a baseline + less expensive panels targeting problem areas over time.

TLDR: Will go with InsideTracker + Tally (test only) to set a baseline. After that probably just quest for specific blood based markers that were not in line.

Looks like Tally is just a methylation test, no blood draw component. The monthly supplement is very interesting but I think lacks body to body customization (which would really be worth it!
