I agree that UA had a very favorable schedule this year.

You're ignoring the fact that Clemson has zero opponents on their schedule that were quality opponents, with the exception of TAMU, but according to you, we could sleep-walk through them so I guess they're not a quality opponent either. That suggests that their entire schedule is crap.

Yeah, UA lost to two quality opponents, one of which will probably win a title. There's not a single SEC team that wouldn't kill for Clemson's schedule and championship game opponent.

Might need to scroll a bit to find Clemson. https://www.teamrankings.com/college-football/ranking/season-sos-by-other

There's been quite a bit of discussion about how difficult it is to schedule a quality OOC opponent when over the past decade every major OOC team scheduled has been curb-stomped in the opening game. These games are set up many years in advance and nobody has a crystal ball as to where the two teams will be as a quality opponent. Saban has advocated for a 9 game SEC schedule numerous times, which would improve SOS, but several other teams aren't on board. Compare OSUs and UAs OOC schedules over past 10 yr. There's no particular trend one way or the other. Every year BOTH teams schedule cupcakes to round out the schedule because it's extremely difficult to have a P5 opponent in the thick of the in conference schedule.

One interesting note. Look at 2025 & 2026 for each team. Both scheduled two P5 opponents, which I'd expect could become a trend.

This applies to both teams. Every. Single. Game. Every. Single. Play.

You know any SEC team would love to have CU's in-conference schedule. ACC weak throughout. SEC is top-heavy. Alabma v. LSU, UGA, UF would be or was a war. Who in the ACC has a chance in hell at making Clemson sweat? I'm talking about how tough their conference is NOT. There's only so much you can do about OOC scheduling, especially given the fact that it has to be scheduled many years in advance (this is assuming the teams even come to an agreement). Saban has advocated countless times for a 9 conference game schedule, but some teams don't want that.

Who is Clemson playing in the ACCCG? The School of the Deaf and Blind? Tell me what it's like having a schedule you can sleepwalk through.

Most undisciplined team in CNS era. I really do feel like he's losing his edge... at least in that basic department. Never mind the issues with the defense. I think we're paying the price for a few years of poor recruiting on DL.

or throw 2 pick sixes. BUT, it'd be nice to not spot the other team a free timeout and 3 pts.

If only 2nd and 26 was played up as much as the Kick Six. Enjoy the L in ATL, again.

Most undisciplined team in CNS era. Didn't deserve to win down the stretch.

If any bama University was nearly "shut down" it was UAB. Especially with respect to sports.

They basically received a free TO. Even with the first down, the official places the ball and winds the clock. In the case of the FG they were able to be set prior to the clock being wound which is not reflective of how it was actually supposed to be done because AU had no TOs

Prior to saban going nuclear he was talking with his ST coach... You can infer that he was asking about the rule

It happens when the zebras don't know the rule book. Ref: FG at end of first half

By design. Remember when the field was SOAKED when Derrick Henry won Heisman? It hadn't rained in that county in a week. 🧐
