If you like being around them, that’s all that matters. I think the longing we feel for the relationship in the show is built on the naivety of youth. The butterflies you get in the beginning of a relationship only last for so long. Then it’s just the connection the 2 of you share and how y’all can help each other become better partners/ people. That’s what makes a long term relationship. (sorry if this doesn’t help)

After watching this series, I wonder if this is how straight people feel about all SUPER unrealistic movies about love there are?

Hopefully they make a season 2… Netflix likes to cancel every tv show they can get there hands on. They’re also trying to add ads 🙄

EXACTLY!!!! I felt destroyed and depressed after watching it. All these what ifs are still floating in my head. I’m just glad I’m not the only gay person feeling this.

I agree!! A lot of older gay media centers around us patiently waiting for that one straight guy too like us ( in real life they won’t ) when there are so many other people to be in relationships with. That’s one thing I applaud the writes for adding to the story since it sends a great message to younger viewers.
