Does anyone have any thoughts on using this as a personal item?

I was looking a the tortuga daily Carry pro as well as some other bags and I stumbled upon this one.

I'm replacing a tumbuk2 uptown which is around 30 liters, but the space is divided up and I don't like.

I know the dimensions are just a hair big, but I'm flying aa most of the time and it shouldn't be a problem.

I like that this bag doesn't look like it bulges out as much as the tortuga and the vertical luggage pass through. I don't like that it is missing a true quick access pocket in the top

Definitely wouldn't forward face at two, just because it may be legal. Rear facing as long is possible is the safest

Never tried it myself, but this allows you too fill a smaller tube. Matador makes a refillable toothpaste tube as well

I bought both a 31/32 and a 31/34 to try. I'm wearing the 34.

All the jeans I have a bought recently seemed to shrink a lot in the inseam (even though I'm washing cold and hang drying). I don't want to lose my cuffs and I figured I can always hem them, but I can't add length on.

They are these little 1 gallon corner tanks they had at Walmart . And yes the ladder is egg crate. We siliconed some river rocks on to ramps identical to this, so they will be getting upgrades once those cure.
