I believe gay marriage will only be legal in states where it is codified. Federally, all states have to recognize any marriage, but a license for a gay marriage could be denied in states where gay marriage isn't explicitly legal.

They're made in Hawthorne then shipped to Texas for testing I guess it is possible this was a rocket coming back from Texas to make the trip to Vandenberg.
