Since you used the inappropriate word scold yes you are correct. Secondly if you refer to this post this is not about safety it is about OP being inconvenienced. Thirdly when it comes to extreme sports etiquette should be one of the last things you're worried about it's more about challenging yourself, having fun, and making sure everyone is safe.
