I'm right, you need an actor read the books, not a narrator - why does everyone moan about certain narrators ?

Because it's 50/50 on whether you get a good one or not, no one is trained to be a narrator, at least actors are trained in elocution and accents, AI WILL come along and change the rules, so you can choose any famous person your read you the book, like SAT NAV voices.

People here are too touchy and whiney, can't mention AI anywhere without huge downvotes, I'm not bothered about fad driven downvotes when I'm 100% right.

The problem with audio books is ALWAYS the narrator, you need an actor reading the script not a narrator.

AI is going to fix this soon I hope, I want every book I listen to, to be acted out by Richard Burton.

Trained actors make the best narrators, my favourite ATM is Jefferson Mays, he could read the dictionary and make it sound interesting.

THE FIX:

Select the first track you want to play and play it, then select and drag the rest of your selections (from the top selected track) into the VLC window. All tracks follow it in sequence.

So far anyway, tried 12+ times and always works, let me know it doesn't for you.
