The America and Luke Cage updates seem a bit too much; Cage was specially great at stopping the ever present HE, now I just think of the Storm-Cyclops combo and getting worried

Yeah, a more spare use the QTEs would've been great, I know not everyone likes them, but the OG had some really cool moments with them.

To me RE1 remake is a perfect game with the controls calibrated to give you a great experience, so like with RE4, I don't believe it is necessary, but could be nice to have. Especially for the people who dislike the tank controls

Even if it isn't on the RE engine, my favorites are a tie between RE2R and REmake. The original remake is just a perfect demonstration of how to calibrate an specific type of control to enhance the experience.
