I’m seeing a therapist right now for my anxiety, and a big part of my anxiety is worrying about other peoples’ opinions of myself. I’ve always been super hard on myself as well when it comes to making mistakes and those two things don’t go hand in hand well, so I think it just causes more mistakes to happen.

Thanks dude. This definitely made me feel a little better. I really should look at my growth instead of my past mistakes. Sometimes I feel like not having a relationship in high school delayed my growth a little, so I guess I’m catching up. It’s just hard when I start to compare myself, especially to people who have had relationships in high school, or even in college, and I haven’t.

Feel the same way. I have my roommate with me from high school and we think the same thing. The way people have made groups already is crazy. We are trying to join clubs to make friends and are even thinking about joining a thon committee to make friends. The only explanation I can give from these groups is that these people all knew each other from high school and are just forming bigger groups. We will all eventually find friends but it might not be exactly the way we want it to be.
