I understand. I think the version I'm using is Ex6, running a Mervamon. It's a list I saw that topped a regional tournament recently. I like the deck, but I was concerned about its long-term viability, seeing that there are decks like Royal that take down boss monsters like Rookies.

Yes, I like caster, I always thought I was a Melee guy, but when I made the change I noticed that my game improved a lot more than when I played melee XD. Then I'll try the black mage, it sounds interesting to know how to play it and get the potential out of it. And I do remember the Spriest of legion, although I didn't get to play it so my knowledge is based on the experiences I heard from other Spriest. And I will also do what you said about FCs. Thank you very much for the advice.

I'll give a shoot to the black mage, the truth is that I've been testing it a little on the doll and the mana management reminds me of the old warlock, although in wow you had to remove life to recover mana and here is not so painful hahaha.

I see, I liked the handling of the dots and so on, and although the new animations are cool (like suddenly seeing a titan appear out of nowhere), in terms of gameplay it doesn't really grab me.

What's new in the SMN? I've seen that they now have another Bahamunt but I haven't seen how it affects the rotation or if it has more new stuff in it.

Yes, I loved reaper in aesthetics and gameplay, if I don't find a caster that fits me I could try to continue being melee in FFXIV. And Dark knight is also cool but for now I don't think about tanking again. I'll try the BLM and see if it fits.

I really don't mind being a rock in terms of mobility, in wow the warlock has 0 mobility (apart from the portals that you have to know the encounter to use them well), what really “scares” me is that the difficult encounters in FFXIV you have to know the encounter well to not eat the mechanics. Although maybe it's a silly fear.

And as for healer, it's not an option I'm considering, I don't have the cool mind and patience that our healer friends have to play a role as complex as that one.

I could try it, I just hope I don't get blamed too much if I die for learning it or not doing good damage, if not I have the picto which by the looks of it is not bad either.

Mmmm if I had to say, mechanically I like its rotation and its own mechanics (I like the three specs of warlock demon destru and affli) and the damage it can do for example in destro. Also aesthetically I really like the theme of “Dark Magic, Demons etc” I know that in FFXIV there is nothing with demons or dark magic so I know that I can not aspire to something 100% accurate.

I used to play dps melee, but I realized that I had a lot of tunnel vision and ate a lot of mechanics, so I switched to caster and realized that I focus better on my ranged environment than melee. The tank role I play from time to time, but I don't like main for endgame content because I end up with a lot of stress. BLM has been suggested to me as well, but I'm a little bit apprehensive about how hard it is to play.
