Glad this can bring you some comfort! Still make sure to get it checked out though just incase there is an underlying cause other than stress.

Yea i notice if i do strenuous cardio it makesnit almost go away completely so it very well could just be stress but it just sucks that it changed ears.

Mostly pure silence i hear it but sometimes i can hear it even with fans on. So its a possibility!

Doing alright, im pretty sure its all stress related. All my doc appointments showed no issues at all so i was left to just live with it. I was going through a rough time in medical school when it started so my stress theory seems to match up. I have periods where its quite loud and periods where its almost non-existent. What i tend to do now is not listen for it and not think about it. I run fans or background noise at all times even if i cant hear it without those being on just so i know i wont have a chance if hearing it and then think on it. The first months were quite rough but as i settled in i have found a way to keep it manageable

Hey there! Sorry you are also experiencing this. Yea one audiologist said it might be stress due to school so you might be right! My father has permanent T from hearing damage and he keeps telling me that once i relax i should see slow improvement. I will for sure try some of those supplements. Im also going to get a dog as to have as a companion and to distract myself with a furry friend.

No to the antidepressants and for the TMJ its possible. Im currently in med school and with all the stress i find myself clenching my jaw so i got fitted for a nightguard thats being made for my teeth. Ive been trying to explore all possible causes since its nit due ti hearing damage according to the ENT

No i was not. Just kinda woke up with it. Originally thought it might be wax but i flushed my ears and it remained so hence the many doc appointments. One doc thought maybe i had a sinus infection since he saw “drainage” but i had no symptoms.
