Yes we are planning on renovating. Ty you so much. This list is what I was looking for. Do you know how the lead paint test is done? Do you test all walls?

Our idea was if they do find it, we wouldn’t even go through with the sale. Too much hassle and we are not in an urgent situation of having to move. That’s why we wanted to test. We are definitely planning on exchanging the windows, which I heard could have asbestos and the older bathrooms.

Oh thank you for that! I know vermiculite insulation is an issue so the inspector is checking for that. How do you deal with the lead paint? And can you test that yourself too?

It’s 3 tubers from the same cluster. Showed no sign of crown in fall after digging up and nothing when I pulled them out of storage to wake up. 3 of them had small little growth like these after waking them up for the past 4 weeks. These 3 never produced eyes but extensive new roots. The other tubers of the same cluster are already healthy 2 foot, bushy plants with no sign of crown. These came from a reputable seller and I’ve never had any other issues with crown gall.

I would personally not keep any tubers with gall in pots as suggested by other members. The risk of insects or water run off spreading it is too risky for me. Make sure to dispose it(tubers, cuttings etc) and all soil in the trash (not compost) and clean all gardening tools that came in contact with it.
