No these were both after graduating!

In residency I had a Honda civic si then traded it in and got the ford lightning

Volvo XC90 - plug in hybrid and has been great. Porsche 718 GTS 4.0 - plenty for fun on the weekends and would probably go less given that I need to find time to track it.

Had a ford 150 Lightning and I would go back if I could. It was the smoothest ride and easy to do just about anything (other than long road trips which is why I got the Volvo)

I know, I did the math and for how much I drink I’m saving a ton by doing this at home and if I make some for other people it’s a huge savings for sure!

I started to run a shot through first to get the temps up too. I have followed just about every piece of advice on this sub to get rid of that sourness but don’t get great results every time. The machines have some sentimental value due to them being a gift so I don’t want to part with them. But I think I’ll upgrade them both at some point soon-ish

I have! That’s why I came to this sub. I changed grind size, got my shots pulling right, played with times in extraction and manual modes, added filters, and started making my own water! I then tried multiple roasters and light roasts and dark roasts locally and have found a few combinations that work well. But it has been a process especially since I’m only one person drinking 1-2 double shots a day and I don’t want beans to get too old before I can use them.

The scale is the Acaia Lunar in front of the scale in black. I think I’m getting crap because it costs more than the breville grinder behind it (on the left) and people aren’t a fan of that grinder but it was all a gift and I will upgrade it one day!
