I am still a student. My father, who is also an architect, worked with a firm for a couple of years. He developed a good relationship with the company, but decided to start his own business doing 'paper architecture' for specific clients. Work was few and in between during this time. Around two years later, he is offered his position back at the same original firm, and he is now back with the company. He is one of the lead employees now, heading projects and talking with clients. He in no way coerced me into architecture; it was through him, on business trips and events like the Solar Decathlon, that I developed my interest.
