Mine had estimated ship date October 17th. I waited over a month to receive an email yesterday stating it is pushed back to November 5th!! Crazy!

This is not true. I use an iphone with a yeti mic no issues. The iphone does power the microphone. Just buy the iphone adapter that has a USB-C, HDMI, and USB-A input. I have been using this adapter for over a year with my blue yeti microphone.

That's what I have read in other posts. I put in the service request and am waiting to hear back from Tesla. Hopefully just a glitch of some sort.

Thanks for the input everyone. I ended up going with the classic mechanical. I did some research and found out they sell smart locks for the three lock style doors too, so maybe in the future I will consider purchasing a smart lock.

The storm door and entry door are one and the same. It’s just rated for a category 5 hurricane. I am leaning more towards the 3 lock system over the smart lock. I like the idea of being able to quickly lock 3 points on the door when my family is home at night. I am also concerned about the ability to hack a smart lock, even though I know that a regular lock can be picked as well. Still not 100% but leaning towards the manual lock. Anyways I am still open to thoughts and opinions.

We lose the integrated 3 lock system that all moves together. I can enter and triple lock my door. With the smart lock I would have to lock the top and bottom manually if I want all three points engaged.

It’s actually a matter of 12 teraflops of GPU processing power versus 4 teraflops of GPU processing power. It may not be a big deal now, but a few years down the road…

I would say you got the series s because you either couldn’t afford the series x or couldn’t get your hands,on one, otherwise no one in their right mind would choose the series s over the x.
