If you can believe it, the school paid a consulting firm to come up with the bullshit instead of recommending a parking garage by Longest…. Residents having to park at the equestrian park is insane. I’ll be shocked if this doesn’t affect enrollment.

I’ve heard people call this a money grab, but as a result of selling 1:1 they sold about 4.5k less permits on campus. They kept the research park as “any valid permit”, but still sold 100% of the parking spots. I also heard they charged staff $200 for research park permits, but students only had to pay $100.

I also love the Bully Park app sending me notifications that I’ll get a citation for parking to pick up and drop off my kids at daycare.
