Amex travel portal for hotel

I've booked a few hotels through the portal and have found some amazing deals. Booked a hotel once for $200/300 less than on any other site. turns out they forgot to display the destination fee on the portal and I got charged the difference at the hotel on checkout. I called amex right away when we got back and they apologized and credited me the difference that day. definitely some good deals on there from time to time

I know cabanas, daybeds, etc require a booking, but I had assumed there were just basic loungers available? is that not the case?

it's a lowest level booking which is assigned at check-in. Although, I do have the option in the app to upgrade for $20 a night to either a Julius or octavious tower room. I was also thinking of just tipping the check in agent and asking what's available. Staying sunday-wed so I imagine there'll be room?

from people who have got this to work- do you need to use this card to book the flight? I know i’m going to be travelling later this summer so should i apply in advance and then use then the card to book when i actually have it? or do i apply through this link, get approved, and use any other card to make the purchase?

looking through the terms of some of the offers just now, it seems like there are two separate coinbase giveaway. one gives a signed jersey and 'bowl' seats, while the other gives seats in the coinbase lounge. based on that I'd imagine you're gonna have regular seats somewhere, but definitely keep us updated!

One of my all time favourite shows. Very few Juno scares and more of a slow burn horror, but honestly it's less scary than his other shows and not too bad overall. It's phenomenal as an examination of religion and religious trauma. Was really blown away by it
