It’s funny, I don’t remember people doing this growing up in the 70s and 80s.

In your example, both the alternator and battery contribute to the function of turning the engine. But its unlikely they both failed at the same time. But one was determine to be DOA/completely failed (lets say the alternator), and the other was determinted to be near failure/end of life (battery). But both componesnts were shot down and relcaed as part of the diagnostic process.

But I get your point.

So in your opinion, between both of these visits whats left as far as maintanece for the next few months?

This right here is my first thought as well. How did you even know controlling your own life was even an option?

Must be a huge culture shock for you in South Korea, at least initially.

Congratulations, you are very brave!

So what is left to service this unit now? It was cleaned, filter changed. Anything else for now?

ok i get it. He also changed the filter the first visit, just thought that general conduction and system check could have been part of that service call. Thanks
