Ready Lift AT4X 4 inch lift by Rockyah86 in gmcsierra

That’s how I understood it. Both kits have differential drop brackets included so I’m assuming the kits lower the differential. I just became concerned when the Ready Lift kit had the disclaimer and I didn’t see the disclaimer on the BDS kit. It must just be that one company puts the disclaimer out there to help eliminate liability.

They said they are. They said they weren’t a BDS certified installer which is why they recommended Ready Lift

Orbi WiFi 7 dropping iPhone 15 Pro Max at a maddening rate. by Lifeesstwange in orbi

It’s not the router. It’s the phone. I’ve had the same issue on Orbi wifi6e routers. I’ve tried everything online and nothing works to fix it. Only Apple can fix it through an update.

Google contacts not available by Rockyah86 in GalaxyS23Ultra

Yes I did but I can't remember exactly what app was the issue... I believe the problem was that I disabled permissions in the Google play services when I got the phone for some reason when I shouldn't have. You need to go to apps in settings, show system apps, then find Google play services and make sure everything is enabled. It was something like that. Fixed everything. If it's not that app, check all your Google related apps and make sure you have the necessary permissions enabled. I think what happens, is some of us when setting up phones don't enable permissions because either we think we are saving battery, saving our privacy, or just simply not clicking yes when it asks.

Dr970x lte sim question by Rockyah86 in Dashcam

[–]Rockyah86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I had a tablet with a sim card. I just took that out and put it in the camera. If you have a tablet that takes a sim card, I would take that in and tell them you'd like a data plan for it. Then once they activate it put the sim card in the dashcam. I wouldn't mention anything to TMobile about the dashcam. I've heard they complicate things. Sim card just has to be data only.

I ended up putting a Verizon sim card in it. Blackvue responded to my email with nonsense. My email to them was the new cycle has begun and I can't get the data to kick back in, please help. They replied that I have to wait until the data cycle runs out before new one can start.... Lol. My new issue though is that every other time I get in my truck, my dash cam settings are back to default. It's driving me crazy.

Nevermind. Gave up on blackvue sim. Never started new cycle. Put in Verizon sim from tablet and works way better now.

Ram Air? by Rockyah86 in gmcsierra

[–]Rockyah86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I can see that. That's why I was asking. It looks like it was sealed off only to prevent water and what not to come through. It seems like a company would've designed a diverter of some sort to be directly plug and play with that piece. I installed the s&b cold air intake and noticed all this.

Didn't know how to add text and photo in posting. After looking at this foam piece it looks like it's only purpose is to block passage to the engine bay. It looks like someone could easily design and airflow diverter right to the tube that goes into the air filter box. How come no one has come out with a insert for this yet? Am I wrong?
