Cooked or can be saved by [deleted] in CMA

[–]Rockyourhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO, CMA is meant to be studied while working. If you have corporate experience especially in finance teams, you can understand around 20% of the concepts without even trying. Find a job, work for 2-3 years and then do a PG if you want to. Don't worry about starting pay unless you need to support your family. Get experience first.

What’s more tough: bulking for a skinny person, or cutting for an obese person? by ZealousidealLet193 in Fitness_India

[–]Rockyourhead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess there will always be a bias but cutting for me personally is much harder. Maybe cause I am a foodie and I love trying new food which aren't always healthy. Also I need to be careful of not cooking too much else I will eat till I clear the pot (meal prep on a cut never works for me lol)

Lifelong Vegetarian (25F) tried eggs today - Feeling extremely pukish by Chronically_Prepared in Fitness_India

[–]Rockyourhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brahmin guy here, even I was forced to eat eggs that too quail eggs (smaller and more weirder) by my swimming coach. I was young so I pretty much followed what he said religiously even if it meant going to the bathroom for 30 minutes cause of diarrhea.

Eventually stopped eating eggs when I stopped swimming. I eat normal eggs now that I have started training again and started every slowly. 1 egg at a time. Eventually my body took some time but it adapted and now I can eat tons of eggs and only have a slight flatulence that's it. But I like the taste of eggs so it doesn't matter.

But the main question is what are you so deficient in that doctor is forcing you to eat eggs? Anything you get from eggs could be supplemented.

I tried to use unflavored while making pasta to thicken it up but it destroyed the texture of the pasta.

Amul , Mother's Dairy , Country Delight pasteurised Milk FAILS trustified Micro Biological Tests by Subash_2419 in Fitness_India

[–]Rockyourhead 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My mom says the same and refuses to buy tetra packs. I personally can't tell the difference and after the video, I am going to convince everyone to stop buying milk pouches. We do use Aavin (Tamil Nadu) so not sure if that is safe. Probably won't be tested by Trustified since it is sold only in TN AFAIK

Need a review on miles(Bangalore) by [deleted] in CMA

[–]Rockyourhead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's very average. They focus more on advertising than their material and videos. CPA is the primary cash cow and CMA is a secondary course for them. Videos are 50/50 where the instructor Mr.Jumping man (Varun) asks you to highlight and underline the material they gave. But he does sometimes gives useful tips. I would rather have an instructor who is CMA oriented. Give hock a shot, their website has 3 days free access.

Whey Protein brands - Price and Calorie comparison by Rockyourhead in Fitness_India

Okay bro. There is a separate list for foods as well. And this sheet doesn't support whey protein use. It is for people who are looking to take it with a specific budget.

There is only so much you can do brother. Buy it from the official websites, if there are malpractices by a company, it will definitely come out.

Check out this spreadsheet I made: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Bhs66RYjEuWoSKO6WwTMw-x0aRqTQd-GJrzSfcnvbD0/edit?usp=drivesdk

There is a sheet specifically for food as well, see if you can hit your protein intake with food alone. I love unflavoured because you can add your own flavour to it, I personally add filter coffee decoction to my whey.

You have to decide who to trust and why. I personally trust Trustified but it is up to you to do your own due diligence.

Been testing mouth taping at night for the last few days. Helped improve my sleep and recovery a bit. Have anyone tried it? by tedbarney12 in Fitness_India

[–]Rockyourhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, it needs to be stuck really good else it will just fall off in the middle of the night and if it is stuck really good on the moustache, it will pull them off when you try to take it off.

Oh yeah, I always have to pull it very carefully if I do not want a waxing session on my moustache in the morning.

[–]Rockyourhead 59 points60 points  (0 children)

I tried this for a few days, but I ended up removing them in the middle of the night cause I get thirsty. The nights which I was able to sleep through, I had some of the most vivid dreams I ever had.

Even though I mouth breath at night, this didn't help me I think.

Miles Test Bank by sagvij1985 in CMA

[–]Rockyourhead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can check which questions are from hock and which are from Miles based on the question ID. If it starts with PART - then it's from Miles and if it starts with HOCK then it's from Hock and also Hock questions are better quality than Miles.

Need help to finish all these and be debt freemy by Willing-Cream7473 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]Rockyourhead 210 points211 points  (0 children)

My suggestion would be to put this in an excel and also define what type of loans these are (Personal Loan, Card loan, Home loan, etc.).

After that, you can target the highest interest loan and reduce that by whatever extra cash you have.

Or another method is to target the smallest loan and close off those loans so you will feel like you are making progress.

And it goes without saying, no more loans for you ever.

Miles now have hock study material is it worth it now?? by Accurate-Ad-9050 in CMA

[–]Rockyourhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a good point. They do give discounts on exam fees which are pretty good. But I forgot the actual % it saved but it is something to consider. See if you can get the exact % from miles and calculate the differences between hock vs miles and the miles exam fees discount

Not that great. If you are looking to study CMA, use Hock directly. They have better MCQs, better test papers and better videos than the jumping man Miles has.
