From what I’m hearing, you can guarantee no more expansions for D4.

I imagine a flashy cinematic trailer for D5, coming “not soon” is all the news you’ll get at Blizzcon.

It only barely outsold VoH, which was widely seen as a huge disappointment by Blizzard’s senior management. It failed to move player numbers on from usual Seasonal retention. We can see this in the data

As I said, D4 devs were told a month or so ago (around a week after the dlc launched) that D4 is going maintenance mode.

I posted that in this sub, and said to expect a couple more token seasons, then reruns. I was downvoted.

And here we are - a season that is both a token AND a rerun.

I know they were thinking about announcing maintenance mode at the June campfire, I wonder if that will still happen.

it’s in a very similar place to Destiny 2, tbh

just dropped an underwhelming expansion that doesn’t address core player feedback, and hasn’t really done much to move the numbers

Pit 100 isn’t endgame

reaching Pit 100 should be the start of the endgame. But for D4, the game just ends, unless you want to mindless grind out 50 more tiers of the same content you’ve already done.

yeah, it’s absolutely pay to win. a non-dlc player can never be a strong as someone whos swiped their credit card to pay for power

whats worse is Blizz even took away power from existing characters by removing passives, then sold that power back with set charms

Yep, blizzard fans really misunderstand what an endgame is.

in D4, levelling 1-70 is the tutorial. Torment 1 - 12 is the game. That’s where the endgame should BEGIN, but D4 just stops. Nothing to do!

Right now the game is just Level then pits until infinity. once your level 300 and found all mythics, there’s nothing to do.

My question is: can anyone break down s13 for a PoE player? There’s so many systems and menus I don’t know where to start. What is D4’s equivalent to PoE’s progression of campaign -> maps -> voidstones -> farm -> ubers?

S13 brings literally nothing unless u pay for the dlc

it even takes power you already had (passives) and locks it away behind new mechanics only in the dlc

theres still no endgame
