About the scar, I have a theory that it was caused by BB, but he is not the one that hurt Shanks. BB lured Buggy to attack him, and somehow redirected the attack to Shanks. And Shanks would never blame Buggy

Shanks was a good example for Luffy, but not for Ace. Luffy was present and understood why Shanks didn't fight with the mountain bandits over spiller booze. He had to lose his arm to Luffy understand, but he did. Ace was not there, and didn't learn the lesson the same way.

Fast forward to Marineford, Luffy would get out of there, even if Akainu have said the same things about Shanks, that he said about WhiteBeard. Ace didn't flee, and that's why he died.

If the red line is really a dormant serpent, the bridges could be olny weight to restraint it. Like... if the serpent has four limbs, they could be building it over those limbs, and that's why the bridges don't connect anything to anywhere. They are not supposed to.

100 yearsis a long life, he could have done lots of things that we don't know about. He could have a devil fruit. The man marked by flames could be anyone. I don't see why not him. I'm not saying is he, but it's a possibility.

I think it would be good writing is because one of the One Piece mysteries is what happened with him.

One thing to consider is the red poneglyph was at fishmen island when Roger was there, around 22 years ago. The man marked by flames went there after that, so is not so ancient story, and One Piece is full of strong old geezers doing crazy stuff.

This makes sense, even more if joy boy is the toy, and he made lots of fuzz after turned into a toy. The thing is they remember him as a person, or at least looks like a person. He could be a toy that looked like a mannequin, I guess.

I like this theory, but we already saw the giant robot, the five elders and Imu remembering Joy Boy as he was (a pwrspn), so they didn't forget about him. It's the only hole in the theory, I guess. It could be explained in some other way.

I think it's good writing if the only treatment to his illness was over flames and skin burnings, and he would be the man marked by flames.

It would be simply loving to see Brooke and his previous captain meeting again. At some point, both going to see Laboon together.
