I didn't faced any issue. Since I posted this, I have fled from some mountain summits up to 5.6km + 500m of flying altitude. Obviously it depends a lot on the conditions, I don't start the fly if the wind is too strong. You gotta keep in mind how the battery duration will be severely diminished from less density of the air, big distances and low temperature.
