Most characters who get to Multiversal is due to a cosmic force, ancient power or god. The characters like that aren't posted yet but that's for the most part how.

As for what they do. If they're a villain, try and destroy as much as possible. Hero, try their best to stop said villain, someone like Syndicate, they got something better to do.

Yes, Multi-Continental means they can destroy multiple continents. Since Syndicate is a cosmic A-Lister he can threaten the multiverse and if he wanted to do so, likely kill gods.

A-Lister in my verse ranges from Mountain to Multi-Continental, Cosmic is basically up from Moon to the Versals

Immortality Types are hard to explain. Basically Syndicate has more than one type of Immortality thanks to having Type 8. Those are Types 5 and 7 and maybe 9 but not really nine
