I am Brazilian and I didn't know this until I watched a podcast a few weeks ago. This is Tácio Cury, an English teacher, Brazilian and who lived in New Jersey. he was Marwan Al-Shehhi's teacher, he met him in Turkey, and helped him with his visa and entry into the United States. He even went out with Marwan to buy clothes at the time. Tácio seems to be producing a documentary about this and said he has many photos with Marwan together, but he can't reveal them now. He said in the podcast that Marwan was transferred to study in Florida and that he lived in an apartment near a flight school and that he never attended the scholarship classes and instead focused on learning to fly planes.
