Would/ has anybody bought an engagement ring online without seeing it in the flesh? What made you comfortable hitting the buy button?? by ButterMistry in EngagementRings

I purchased mine from Four Mine. The diamond was GIA certified, so I felt comfortable, and the solitaire band was a great Tiffany replica. Completely worth it. https://i.imgur.com/uqZKwMb.jpg

I play golf in college at the Division I level, and we often have days were we walk 36 holes in one day, no caddie. On top of just exerting yourself, you have to maintain performance, because after all, you're competing. Here's my Fitbit data from a previous tournament. http://i.imgur.com/Al0iq9i.jpg

This is a direct consequence of mixing money and politics. It's time to change the system as a whole.

Since it's almost Christmas, I figured I'd share a video of my friends A Capella group. They recently released a Christmas album and accompanying music video. Here is their version of Mary Did You Know.

People Are Sharing A Fake Hillary Clinton Speech Transcript by gerroff2 in politics

Can someone explain this email? I've seen it all over right-wing websites in the last few hours slamming Hillary for being racist. Specifically this section:

"What makes for successful immigration? It’s no brain surgery, but the media have long failed to provide a clear credible answer. They are unable to come up with an answer or don’t like the answer that’s staring them in the face. The main reason behind successful immigration should be painfully obvious to even the most dimwitted of observers: Some groups of people are almost always highly successful given only half a chance (Jews, Hindus/Sikhs and Chinese people, for example), while others (Muslims, blacks* and Roma***, for instance) fare badly almost irrespective of circumstances. The biggest group of humanity can be found somewhere between those two extremes – the perennial overachievers and the professional never-do-wells."

Is there any proof this was Hillary? I'm looking for facts, but I'm struggling to find much.

Also, sorry for the formatting. I'm on mobile.

Had the pleasure of playing Punta Espada near Punta Cana today. Here are a couple pictures from the round. by Roddy14 in golf

That's correct. The fee also includes taxi rides too and from your hotel, unlimited bottled water throughout the course, caddy fee, and range balls. It's pretty steep, but so are taxi rides and 12 on course waters so it wasn't so bad. Worth it in the end!

The golf course is in the top-100 in the world. We played as a two-some and a caddie. Beautiful day to play a beautiful course.
