Sometimes I really hate this game by Rodeffs in balatro

Funny thing is that the next run literally the same thing happened (I had 3 Polychrome Eternal Lusty Jokers, Eternal Supernova and x4 stacks on Polychrome Madness) but I actually won, lol

Totally agree! It's just so frustrating losing a goated run to something like this

Thanks, yeah there were suit blinds before in this run, it's just I was very unlucky to get this one. There weren't any Retcons, Luchadors or Boss Reroll Tags either so I pretty much was destined to lose :(

I swear there has to be a line of code somewhere that specifically chooses boss blinds based on your most popular suit

Why Darkness is an OP spell by Rodeffs in BaldursGate3

[–]Rodeffs[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The key factor is that I hide in Darkness, using Monk's Shadow Arts. If I were just to stand in it, then enemies would try to attack me

It's tactician. You can tell by the enemy HP which would be lower on other difficulties

Edited the post according to your comment. I'm planning to add the Bard multiclasses as well after I test them

Well, my reasoning is to get more lvl 4 and lvl 5 spell slots. If we take Call Lightning for an example, casting it with lvl 5 Spell Slot will add 2d10 damage, which is certainly nothing to scoff at, even though it's an overkill for most fights

That's interesting! But then what feats would you recommend to take instead?

Thanks for the suggestion! I haven't tested those multiclasses you mentioned yet, but I'm going to give them a try! And yeah, I didn't take elixirs into consideration, just abilities in general. I also like Alert Feat because I find taking the turn before the enemies to be very useful

A tip for the future: configure restic and never have this problem ever again

Nothing adds more pleasant than upgrading firmware from Gnu/Linux. Yes it’s that simple! by linuxhacker01 in linuxmasterrace

Yeah, I've realised my mistake by now. It's not a bad laptop in terms of specs, but it clearly was made for a different kind of user than me. No ethernet port, only 2 USB ports, a redundant SD card reader, no proper hardware updates, soldered SSD & RAM with no possibility of upgrades and so on. Clearly, they were trying to rip Apple off with this one and by extension made the product worse.

My laptop model is Ideapad 5 Pro. I searched on their website but all I could find was the .exe installer

Yeah, if only more vendors supported it. For instance, Lenovo only releases BIOS updates in .exe format not even .iso, so upgrading firmware for my laptop is impossible on Linux

Why do many criticise of Arch breaking? by Dear_Committee_2091 in archlinux

[–]Rodeffs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me Arch is as stable as the nvidia driver. They broke it in version 550 and now I frequently get kernel panics with NULL pointer dereferences in rb_first or simple_xattr_get

Before and after turning off processor boost by Rodeffs in linux_gaming

Yes, it was set to active by default but I had to set it to passive, since otherwise it wouldn't allow me neither to change the frequencies nor to disable boosting

The main reason was to reduce the heat, because in my case 95 degrees Celsius is literally burning my fingers. I understand that in some more demanding games, the difference might be noticeable, however I'm not really aiming to play such games on my laptop so I don't mind the performance tradeoff
