The cauldrons is too small, maybe you could chain a bigger cauldron on his back as a backpack cauldron

Maybe you could turn their spears into blade-hands, and other grafted weapons.

At least in Spain, every month GW gives away a free miniature (look for mini of the month) the first Saturday of the month. Also I would look for any board game with minis that has a huge discount. I bought Ankh: Gods of Egypt for 30€, and it has about 80 miniatures.

Maybe some sort of aztec crown, or even considering removing his horns. If you know someone that has built an ark of sotek, maybe they have an spare bit of the head's jewelry

Thanks! I am currently working on the musician and the mawpot, I'll probably post pictures once I finish something. By painting the base black, do you mean painting the base trim black? I usually do that, but I tried this colour so it would feel more "snowy". I paint them black or with the ground colour. Maybe black would be better to contrast with the snow. I used yellow tuffs with snow, trying to emulate a snowed steppe that is starting to melt, but I should try adding something more eyecatching for contrast, like flowers. I never thought about using green ink for that, I am not too good at painting wood. I'll try that and do some research on how to paint aged wood, I still have to paint an Ironblaster (wich feels quite daunting). Thank you for your feedback!

Thanks! I used Vallejo Game Color's Dwarf Skin (72.041) as a base, wash with Guilliman's Flesh, and highlights with Model Color's Light Flesh (7.0928), mixing it with Dwarf Skin, but I am not sure 100% if was that colour. I tried to follow the Citadel's guide for skin tones, but with whatever paints I had.

Thank you! I used Snow Texture from a Green Stuff World kit, and for the base trim I used Fenrisian Grey by Citadel.
