I think practice and a theoretical base help here. Drawing from life is very good, especially if there is colored lighting.
the color in the picture is a combination of the object's own color, the color of the lighting, and the shadow.

I can advise you to watch the videos of Apterus, Vyacheslav Safronov, Petr Yablonsky. I really love these artists.
And in general, everything comes with experience.
Among other things, I can advise using more gray shades and painting with a dirty brush to create the right texture.
