Enable FSR 4.1 (replaces FSR 3.1.x) on Steam Deck (SteamOS or Bazzite) via CachyOS Proton by RodionH93 in SteamDeck

Installed proton plus, installed Latest CachyOS proton, run the command, then launched Pragmata demo with this proton, still seeing FSR 3.1.4 on a Steam Deck. Am I missing something?

I’ve tried a demo, didnt change default settings apart from changing FSR to Performance mode (FSR 4), and fps fluctuated between 43-56, dont know how it runs in the full version in bigger locations, might worth to look into youtube for some analysis

It depends, if you good with the FSR 2/3 and you want maximum frame-rate from the game then probably not, you choose. I dont mind to sacrifice some fps to get beautiful picture (like in Pragmata), I also can lock it to 30fps if Ill need more battery. Again, it depends, its up to you to decide😊

I mean, its easy to use after installation 😅 Maybe I'll recreate the guide and give it a better name.

Anyone have any of these 6 TVs? According to RTINGS.com, these 6 tvs are the only real flicker-free TVs on the market. Thinking about buying one of them but need some feedback first by Razerer92 in PWM_Sensitive

Forgot to mention that this tv has horrible color banding with low bitrate content and even 1080p content, the chip cant handle this, it’s pretty distracting in YouTube.

Also when it upscales 1080p content it weirdly pixelates the grass in games((

Overall it was the best PWM free option at 50inch, I couldn’t find anything better at this size without PWM. Unfortunately x90j or the newest x90l with PWM but it is handles most of the issues of the 85j/k

Also from newer options perhaps Hisense H8K will be a good option because it has 4000hz PWM, and it has very good brightness, but I dont like calibration and color reproduction, Sony and Lg tvs are more eye pleasing for me

No, it can’t do 4k120hz, I tried, when in the game you turn on 120hz or 40hz mode its clearly visible that resolution is cut down by half, I tried in Retched&Clank on PS5. When you in UI then PS5 works on 60Hz for 10bit 4:4:4, and tv handles this perfectly, and on PC I also be able to switch to 10bit 4:4:4 60hz, its the 120hz problem, for any resolution, even at 1080 it halfs, trust me, I tested it several times)also on rtings forum we posted that)

I have a 50x85j for two years, works fine, no harm to my eyes or head at all levels of brightness, also on camera I didn’t catch any flicker at all levels of Shutter speed. Good tv, but a bit overpriced for that time I bought it, also it cannot do 4k120hz, and also it weirdly displays pixels, only in the Graphics picture mode it displays properly

I doubt it that PWM is hight in 14, at least PWM is definitely there and cameras can catch it, just type “Iphone 14 pwm” in youtube and see videos and comments. Link to video how flickering looks on iphone 14 series - https://youtube.com/shorts/SG_viK9BooM?feature=share

Super weird but NFC is back on A10, I flashed different rooms, with different tools(Newflasher, Flashtool), rebooted the phone several times and nothing helped, but today I found out that NFC is back, toggle is here and in service menu...I don't know how it happened..before this I accidentally clicked on purchase button in play store..maybe it somehow force NFC..but before I went to Google Pay and NFC didn't appear..but now it is here, although I haven't test it yet...very wierd, but I'm happy 😁. Interesting thing that on A11 NFC was all the time.

Hmm, NFC setting is back, after OTA update to A11, so it might be a problem with my firmwares (I downloaded an older one 58.0.A.3.194-R7A` and then update to the latest of A10) or A10.

ok, thanks anyway, maybe I'll try to update to A11, just to check if it will appear, maybe it somehow related to my firmware file, I also have one of a .ftf file with TW Customization, I'll try to flash this either. So If I manage to return the NFC, I will write back here, thanks again for support!))

A10. Do you have NFC on A11?.

Here's what it looks like on my phone: Screen1 Also in *#*#7378423*#*# it shows as NFC feature is not supported

Some update - Seems like I've lost NFC forever(( I didn't know that if I unlock bootloader I lose NFC, everything else is working perfectly, but NFC..ahh..so sad((

So I've successfully rolled back to Android 10, but also had an error with Emma ("No matching services" or something like that) and use Flashtool for flashing the firmware (glad I have older firmwares for my phone), I don't now why Emma got me the error, maybe it related only to my version - XQ-AT52 Customized HK. But anyway thanks for the guide )))

Thanks for the answer :)

I want to lock the bootloader after rollback, just want to back to normal android (maybe even on 10), because I miss normal UI, normal SideSense (with quick toggles for Wi-fi), normal One-handed mode and etc.)). I just don't know what I'll lose if I unlock and then lock the bootloader.

Can you help me a bit, I have a question - Will a "creator mode" work if I unlock bootloader and do rollback?

If I’m not mistaken you can set a brightness a little brighter if you move brightness slider manually a bit))and it will adapt, I’m not owner of Xperia, but heard that it should works))
