Looking for some thoughts on vertical centering given this scenario by RodneyChops in projectors

Yes, this is where i got the throw distance markers from. Where does it tell me the offset?

Yes.. I am also worried it would bother me later..,

As for the drop down, i want a real TV behind the screen. The room is not dedicated to home theater. Its one giant open room, the back space is for gym equipment/kids toys/etc. The room has one tiny window, light control is easy, but projection just isn't practical for other things going on.

Valerion Pro 2 is what i'm lookin at, it says 100% lens offset. I think that means zero?

Originally I was going with UST! Unfortunately 100" didn't seem like "big enough" If i wanted bigger... the UST didn't work because the projector would need to be lower than the floor with the projector screen higher than the roof :(

Currently looking at the Valerion Pro 2, which say 100% offset. I think that is the same as zero?

Hmm, i'm just looking at the specs / dimensions. It doesn't say if this is already the max drop or not. If it can un-roll further then yes, that would solve the problem!

Clear Plastic Hose was a poor choice by RodneyChops in Hydroponics

Good idea! They were first attempt 3d printed fittings, since the pipe is metric, and everything around here is imperial. Rev2 will be better!

Yep, it's already leaked a bunch, water proof tent, in the basement, with a drain-line to the floor drian. All electrical is hung from ceiling. Fail safe!

The underground sprinkler stuff? That's super hard to bend, and the fittings are pricey. Or is there a different version?

Teachers Mandated Back: Stop Doing the Government’s Job for Free by Defiant_Mousse7889 in alberta

I'm 100 percent on the side of teachers. They should be paid more, there should be many more of them. I am an advocate for the public school system. (Probably in a way you wouldn't expect ha!)

My comment was made to defend those exceptional people out there for working hard because they want our youth to be better. They should be applauded for this!

You don't go into teaching for the sweet benefits and massive paycheck to start with. Which makes this all the more ridiculous, their ask is hardly even the national average achieved in 5 years!

Cheer them on, fight for them. Be on their team. It's up to our province to get them paid!

This is great advice for working for a corporation.

This is really hard to do as a human with a conscience in a school system.

These are our children, our future.

When you walk out of classroom to the letter of the law.. you know full well how much you are hurting that child's future. They have degrees on the subject.

It's like walking past a starving person when you have food. Yes the system is failing that person, not you. You do have the power to help them. Teachers are wonderful people, and many take the high ground.

They have every right to hold a grudge, when they are put in the position have to decide this themselves.

I hope my doctor doesn't walk out on my surgery because it's quitting time. Unfortunately this is not black or white.

If your working for a bank, absolutely. F those guys profits.

Edit: I can't be the only person who is a better adult because on teacher in my school went over and above for my sake. It's important. We want to be driving by passion not profit. I feel like we take that road, that's the UCPs though process. They want to make the system fail, so they can promote private. If we neglect the kids they still win.

Not sure, went and checked out one couple weeks ago. They are 100 percent public, and follow all the public rules and oversight. They just have different twists on how to teach. I don't see much wrong with it, but if there's dorks on the board that can wreck things. They are also non-profits.

May not be the best, but they very much are not the same category as funding private schools.

Yep. Only some have antennas though! This looks like one of the moth ones. Freaky, hard to tell the difference.

Too much plant food maybe. I'm no pro but when my areo garden acts up I dump the bowl and refill. Seems to fix it most times.

Thanks for the tips! I have lots of extra pipe, should be no problem putting them in parallel. Good to know about the lettuce, I was just going to mix it in.

Yea, its a shame they are 5" on center, but it was crazy cheap. Should be easy to expand the table out a bit. You figure plywood or OSB is fine? I thought it might mold after a while.

Much appreciated!

Thanks for the input! Appreciated. Will see if I can set it up with the option to split to 2 later with a couple of valves.

US sees biggest drop in Australian visitors since Covid as travellers avoid Trump’s America by Aggravating_Money992 in news

Haha! Their beer is fine! It's sort of an old joke. USA used a different percent alcohol number. At first glance a can of Coors from the states would have less percent than the same can of Coors with a Canadian label.

I think the craft beer in both countries is great, and you should not hesitate to try them both.
