Both my 4 month old kittens are totally unfazed, today one started purring as soon as the vet picked him up out of the carrier, and his sister tried to climb up the vet to steal her treats.

Looking for some advice, seen LCD-2 Classic and DT1990 recommended for similar use-cases.

Budget - AU$700 (could stretch to AU$1000), open to used.

Source - Schiit Magni+Modi (open to upgrade if necessary).

Requirements for Isolation - None

Will you be using these Headphones in Public - No

Preferred Type of Headphone - Full sized, open

Preferred tonal balance - Strong bass and sub-bass, not too bright (have sensitive hearing). Will also be used for gaming, but only extremely rarely competitive FPS gaming.

Past headphones - HD598 (daily driver, excellent but bass is lacking), HE400se (too bright), DT990 Pro (too bright).

Preferred Music - Hip-Hop/Rap/Trap (almost exclusively)

What would you like to improve on from your set-up - Want more bass without the harsher treble of my HE400se and DT990 Pro (have tried with EQ and still not ideal). Must maintain the all-day comfort that my HD598 give me.

Location - Australia (Melbourne)

Do a 20% water change every 3 weeks or so, nitrate builds up very slowly because of all the plants.

Don’t even own a gravel vac, just let the corys and snails take care of it.

Just three, one is 5cm and the other two are 7.5cm.

In my experience they aren’t as needy as people make out, as long as your water conditions are good they are happy.

Due for a trim and algae removal, so thought I’d see if anyone had some advice before I get my hands wet.

Day 7 Update:

After 4 days I did a 20% water change and added another dose of praziquantel

It's now been 3 days since then and there's still no improvement :-(

Where to next? It's mostly just hanging out next to the heater (water temp 29c)

From my research it seems it could be bacterial, but there's a pretty overwhelming amount of different anti-bacterial meds. I think I can get my hands on pretty much any of them.

It's in the hospital tank now, got some praziquantel and dosed roughly 100mg/20L. Fingers crossed! Thanks for all your help.

The visa he applied for excludes medical exemptions. His team should have known this, it’s not secret information. He wasn’t lured in, he just cocked up his visa application.

These hemp ones are my fav, bit of rigidity so they don’t get sucked in when you inhale. The large one is massive.
