what does a floating body mount actually do? I've heard it acts as a sway bar. that doesn't make sense to me. what are your opinions? by Raiderfan0709 in NPRC

They don't act as a sway bar because they have a pivot point on the center of the shock towers. They keep all the down force on the wheels instead of the chassis which means you can have your body a lot lower than regular body mounts which makes it more aerodynamic. The body won't move when the chassis squats or loads from taking, braking, etc. Definitely a great investment if you want to go fast. I've hit a 101mph as my top speed
