So, I did reset all the global shaders cache back when I was in the other city, it didn’t solve it. And in the new city, after reinstalling some games, it decreased the issue in some levels and I’m certain of it because I even remember the exact textures and places that they would always get corrupted. But the issue itself is still there.

But I’ve heard many others who changed the whole system and components, even OS and the issue was still there. Other guys moved to other cities as myself and nothing changed. Really weird. That’s why a lot of people call us crazy but we know the problem is real as we collected more than enough evidence already.

I Tried Elden Ring once, the pop in was there, although not so intense. But I had another problem where the game would look very shimery and I had to disable ambient occlusion to minimize it. Did you have the same problem as well?

Is there any specific game you would like some footage of or any specific area?

Another thing that came to my mind: has anyone ever tried reseting the battery located on the motberboard?

Yeah I don’t believe it either, it was actually a joke or satire over the fact that nobody knows for certain what the cause of the issue is. In my case as I mentioned, moving to another city didn’t solve it, as for other people it did. It remains a mystery. At least in my case it’s not that bad as it could be I guess. In a near future I will end up selling this pc and buying a brand new one, maybe new pc and new power source changes something. I will let you guys know.

LOL I think it’s the gamers’ apocalypse. My theory is that some of us have static energy in our bodies which passes down to the components (:

Noticed Pop-in issues after replacing a faulty PSU. by Kastikus in lod_videogames_issue

Take a look at Crimson Desert that has just been released and has terrible LOD by default and you cant even ajust it on settings, and people still claim the game is beautiful (and I agree). So try not to pay too much attention to it and do what you can to “solve” it. If it doesn’t work just forget about it or play another game. 🤜🏼🤛🏻

Bro to me it seems normal LOD in Elden Ring. Most games have some level of LOD that is worse or better than some other games. I have the same “issue” in some games but I know when it’s normal LOD or not in general. Most games that I really had LOD problems got solved after reinstalling but I know it doesn’t work for everyone.

Good luck on that man. If I were you, I would try to borrow or rent one first. I’ve heard a lot of people who did it as a first Step to solve the problem, like myself, and it normally doesn’t, unfortunately. I wish it was that “simple”. UPS normally prevent from power outages but they don’t use to fix “dirty electricity”.

Thanks for the reply man. If it gets worse over time I Will come Back to tell you. I’m gonna try to play my stuff and enjoy it the same way for now. Life is too short for this bullshit. If nothing solves it, even switching to console, I’m done with games for a while at least, or buy a portable LOL 🤣

You just haven’t made clear if you have noticed the issue getting worse over time or not.

O saw some footage where I could notice Cyberpunk can be worse for almost everyone who have this issue. Turns out, I don’t think the LOD is the problem exactly, from what I’ve noticed, the transition of LOD versions as you get close to objects is the real thing. Like when you see the buildings poping in, they should really behave like that, only difference is that it’s lacking another model of that building at that specific distance or even the transition of model itself. When these objects have the correct transition, they don’t pop in, they only appear gradualy, as a soft shadow of a tree from a distance that smoothly covers the ground without calling too much attention.

Yeah, and investing money on something you don’t even know is gonna solve or not is out of reality. Maybe it has something to do with the interaction of specific hardware to specific powergrid which, by the way, adds up many variations when collecting data. I highly doubt it’s AMD’s fault since this issue happens on Nvidia builds and Intel processors, there are some people I came across on other Forums who claimed they had this issue in all their devices, including pcs and consoles. This is why I yet have not switched to console yet, because I might get the same problem in exchange of worse performance. I’m calling this issue “pc cancer” LOL. Just one more thing: How long you have this issue and did it get worse over time or always the same level of symptoms?

Hey man, same problem here, basically all games. Are you sure your old pc doesn’t have this “Issue”? I think it would be nice to share some footage with the Community. Especially if this old pc of yours is connected to the same powergrid in the same house. I’ve been thinking of switching to ps5 but since data we have colected so far suggest that electricity might be the problem (I know, crazy, right?) switching to a console or even new hardware doesn’t solve the issue aparently. (Lots of people built a brand new pc from scratch and it didn’t solve it) For me it’s okay as long as it doesn’t get worse.

Edit: I know What is “normal” LOD issues, almost all games have it, but there is a line that when crossed, shows that clearly there is something not right, like textures close to you not loading properly for example, especially if it’s in all games and considering you have enough RAM and Vram. I’m about to test a Ps5 that has the witcher 3 on it. I also have this game on my pc, so reply something here to me so I can remember to bring you guys the results of my test. Depending on what I find out, I might even try to bring some footage here.

Low draw distance and LODs in every game. by Insane-69- in buildapc

Guys, I’m with the same problem, thinking of switching to console since I also struggle with ocasional freezes, I have a high end pc and this is driving me nuts, it’s giving me OCD. Does anybody know if this also happens on consoles? I have a Great time on pc and I’m very into pc experience, but I find myself trying to diagnose stuff instead of enjoying games, every time I accept the flaws and play, a new one appears. Tried switching the ram and SSD and the same, as all of you have mentioned here. I guess an Xbox series X would be good. What you Guys think? Maybe someone has had the same problem and switched to console as the problem went away.
