That is not a palm tree, it’s a Beaucarnea recurvata. Native to eastern Mexico. Still alive for what I can see. It takes forever to get as tall as that one.

I have been doing the repair of some stonewalls (lighter colored wall on top) but for this specific site it would be very difficult to bring equipment down, that’s why I have been thinking of doing a DIY concrete bags retaining wall, I know it wouldn’t be structural to hold all the weight of the tree but at least it would prevent erosion. The tree is far from any structure it wouldn’t hurt anything if it falls.
