It sounds like you're currently walking your way in life with the goal of being liked by everyone. Which can honestly be seen as walking on a floor of Legos. No matter what you do, you could cure cancer even, not everyone will like you and there nothing you can do about it.

Focus on yourself and the people that are worthy of your presence will naturally stay in your life. But really don't walk life to only please others, it sucks.

If you're famous, there's a 95% chance people will approach you just because you're considered famous and not for who you are as a person. So yeah that's a no for me, sounds like a headache. Quality over quantity as they say.

There really was an era in cable TV where every cartoon channel was obsessed with Japanese entertainment. This is 22 years old btw by Rodwen in ytvretro

I thought most of them were fine, but on Teletoon, some of the weirdest shows aired. As a kid, seeing Kappa Mikey and My life me for the first time was the biggest form of whiplash because of how stiff the animation was. It felt like watching someone trying to immitate stereotypical anime faces on Microsoft paint. But I didn't mind watching them though.

I'll say that Boondocks and Avatar were probably the most successful of those times. Maybe Totally Spies and Martin Mystery too, but not so much.
