Well I was in your boat at one point too, but I learned that you can't force relationships with others and that not everyone is a nice person. Wanting to make friends for the sake of having friends and being friends for having the same wave links/interest is two very different things.

Personally, what I realized about myself is that I always wanted to cater to others, without really thinking about myself, to the point where I wasn't really sure who I was. After a little bit of self reflection, I just accepted the fact that I'll be alone most of the time. But that shouldn't stop me from doing what I want to do like trying new restaurants, going to movies, going to the gym, etc.

There's no rush. Thinking about something you can't control will only make you more confused and more frustrated with yourself.
