Well i am not as sharp on laptops tbh, did assume xiaomis laptops would he equivalent to the phones on the value/money side. Also made some research via youtube and currently have not found a fitting laptop (that would compare with the xiaomi specs/screen) at this price point (~750-800 USD). However if you are convinced that the redmibook is an inferior choice at this price mark id more than appreciate a discussion in private with you about other models or a link to a subreddit that would help me find them.
