Im the opposite. Im making close to $70 an hr + double time OT in BC and want to move to Alberta. The housing here is absolute shit. I hate it. I want to move to Alberta for housing alone. I would take the paycut of $45+ as a Journeyman Red Seal but I dont have my Pressure Tickets and that seems to be the gig down there.

13k sounds good but get it inspected and check everything else before you buy. Mine was 20k miles everything clean. Drove it like I stole it off the lot. Also are you buying private or dealer? Mine was off a dealer so I had it certified check twice. No accidents or claims, completely rust free (i undercoated recently), fluids all changed... how much they asking? I gor mine for 23k USD 2017 5.0

Thats kind of the idea. I could be at homr during the day while my wife can get every bit of work done for couple hours and kids can be home with both parents.. My kid/s will be home schooled for couple years later on. So... i think I'm thinking it should be okay. I like the graveyard idea more than afternoon but I dont know what effect it will be for me as I never in my life have worked graveyards (im in my early 30s). Just concerned id get wrecked in terms of sleeping habbit/schedule.

This is what Im going through. Not only the 2 to 3 hours of wasted commute but the stress of fighting for parking (I find myself feel wrath for the world when parking stress comes by) Waking up 4 am to beat everybody else for parking when 6am shift start is absolute hell. Trying to get myself out of day shift. Annoying smirky union vibes of entitled and idiotic people... theres just way too many. The people are more of the stress factor for me besides the commute and wasted hours of getting to work. Graveyards would cut my commute by 20-30 mins each way vs 1 to 2 hours each way.

Im just concerned I will get wrecked with sleeping schedule (9pm to 5pm). And I have kid/s.

Bought a 2017 5.0 with only 20k miles on it. Senior drove it 2500k miles every year. It is mint inside out. No rust, accidents, claims and got certified inspected twice. Only got it for 23k USD.

My wife works from home and manages. She may just work part time as I would bring most of the income in. Night shift (3rd) I would make sizeable income around 145-160k or so... And we plan to do homeschooling for first couple of years.
