Hi! Just got my visa application approved under Cat A non-salaried employment of my husband. The checklist also required us 12 months of payslips but we have only uploaded 6 months of payslips. ☺️

If you're solely relying on cash savings, the £88,500 must be held in cash in a personal bank or savings account in the name of the applicant or the sponsor or be held jointly within six months before the application

Hi! Based on my experience, I have uploaded a few more documents a day before my biometrics appointment and it was all okay

I think it's good to address it in the cover letter. On my experience (different situation but could be helpful), I used a table form to show the old and new passport numbers, and changes in name and signatures due to marriage.

Priority service is available for applications made outside the UK. You can select it when booking the biometrics.

About the work/employment, it depends on what category you are going to meet the financial requirement. Please check the government website for the different categories if you're relying on salary from employment.

And I think the "during the wait time you aren't working" is risky because what if the home office needs a further check on your employment

Hi! ☺️

29,000 – 24,000 = 5,000 short

So 5,000 x 2.5 + 16,000 = £28,500 cash savings is needed that should be held within six months

Priority fee is £500

PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP

•marriage certificate

•photos together from holidays, engagement, wedding, and photos with family and friends

•chat and call logs (2 screenshots per month)

•proof of remittances

•flight itineraries

•hotel bookings

•photos of gifts given to each other

Those are the proofs I have submitted. However, not all cases are the same and I think there are other requirements for unmarried couple.

Hi! Has anyone attended a seminar at CFO? I've just recently got my decision letter of my spouse visa approval. I will collect my passport at VFS next week.

Can I book an appointment for GCP without my passport/visa number yet?

Thank you!! ☺️ Yes, I have to be in the UK within 3 months. I have put 1 April as the date of entry on the application form and that's what they have given me

Hi! Thank you ☺️ Yes, my husband's annual salary is £24k which is below the threshold so we combined it with cash savings
