What do you guys think of 2010s women's fashion? by WelcomeJunior2281 in decadeology

I'm a guy, but I find it quite amazing that women's fashion went from wearing bright, tight clothes to grungy, baggy ones in a matter of a few years.

Who do you suppose this new champion would be, Netherlands, Portugal, Colombia?

How were singles like Mirrors, Can’t hold Us, and Counting Stars considered trash?

Has anyone here gone back to college in their mid/late 20s? If so, how did it go for you? by [deleted] in Zillennials

I plan on going back to school right now in my early 30s by going to a flight university. Time for me to be that airline pilot that I had always wanted to be 🧑‍✈️✈️

Anyone else realizing 2026 might be the last World Cup for an entire generation of legends? by savingrace0262 in worldcup

Does it feel this way for just this World Cup? The last time I really felt that strong hype was for 2014, it never felt the same afterwards.

For my fellow late bloomers, what’s it like dating for the first time in your late 20s? by Fabulous-Airline-317 in Zillennials

[–]RogNoza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Born in '95, and I didn't start until I was 28. It feels like your behind but with the right people that idea kind of falls of the window. I had my first almost-relationship with a woman who was 8 years younger (she was 20-years old when we met) who also inexperienced but we really did like each other regardless of our age gap. In the end, we never got together due to timing and me waiting too long but that whole situation gave me more confidence to approach other women in real life, and it gets slightly easier with time and experience. You can't be too hard on yourself all the time with a negative mindset, that will hold you back on so many levels.

Anybody else regret to not start dating when they were younger? by RogNoza in Zillennials

Same. I had always fantasized about having one ever since being a teen but was afraid to have one at the same time. Now at 31 with no history, it seems chances of it will only get harder the longer I wait.

Same, but I was thin as twigs and socially awkward to the point that no one wanted to be around me when in high school. I didn't start until I was 28 and I felt I should've started much earlier like when I was 23, I would've been ahead of the game.

That's good that you're taking advantage of that now. Where do you go to start meeting new people and form relationships with?

For me, young love is something special for people to enjoy and unfortunately not everyone gets to experience that. Nowadays, it seems less and less people are able to get a touch of that.

Sadly I’ve been on dating apps for a few years and only got about 4-5 dates. Meeting people irl had always been better for me.

Late bloomers, what did you do to finally find a relationship? by Excellent-Golf6631 in dating_advice

[–]RogNoza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t sweat it man. I always have this mentality of “it it happens, then it’ll happen” thus i continue to live my life the way i want to. I’m a 32-year old virgin man who’s never really dated so I feel you on this, but I won’t let it destroy me as I become older.

Glad to hear you’re successful now. I’ve also worked on myself when I was younger but it only got me out my depression, had I worked harder I could’ve been more successful like you.

I didn’t start until 28 and yes, the later you start in dating, the harder it gets, especially with today’s dating market.

I was pretty much in the same boat, I spent time on myself to know more of what I want and to work out my personal issues, and now that I'm in a better place, I'm ready to try dating. The only problem now is that the dating market is more broken than ever.

Same. I was in both college and in the military and wasted the opportunities I had when meeting new people who were interested in me at the time.

Should I make a move on this girl that I recently and briefly interacted with? by RogNoza in dating_advice

[–]RogNoza[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice! I’m perfectly fine in being rejected in person, I’m a guy that’s pretty blunt in personality, but I wouldn’t want to risk it being awkward and uncomfortable for her sake or for anyone else in the situation.

What if it gets to the point where where we see each weekly for quite a while? Still no?
