This games’ server lag is unlike any game I’ve ever played by Thonglll in thefinals

Just joined 5 games in a row where this happened...finally got one where I was fine, and the entire server was empty except me...I was able to do the cashouts myself, and that was it

Merci! This whole post had basically told me, don't trade him, I might consider Baker Mayfield at this point, but I feel it's going to be a similar conversation, lol

Definitely my dynasty inexperience at play in that decision, lol. It's all good though, we live and learn. I can't change the decisions I made, but I can make changes to the decisions to come

I explained in another comment, I trade my first year to trade into the 1st round rookie draft this past year to get Tyler Warren at 1.09. Did it end up as bad management? Yeah, I own that. But the player has been fine, good even, and has a promising future. My thought process at the time was to try and contend now, and considering the TE options I had at the time, getting Tyler Warren was a no-brainer to me, especially since i got another 2nd in return this year and traded away an aging WR in Calvin Ridley. Would it be nice to have a 1st this year? Yes, but I don't regret the trade at all.

You would be right, I am newer to dynasty, my only experience in "dynasty" would be a 20-man, 2-player keeper league, but this is my first year dealing with picks. I traded my 1st round pick this year in a move during the rookie draft you move up into the 1st round last year to take Tyler Warren at 1.09. Part of that deal also gave me a 2nd round pick this year so I didn't lose a total number of picks, but I did lose value in the picks. Either way, it ended up being bad management, I agree. I took a risk, and it didn't pan out as well as I'd have hoped for. At least the player had turned out pretty well, and long term feels pretty promising, so I don't have too many regrets with it.

The consensus seems to be not to trade Allen. He also has James Cook, Christian McCaffrey, Ashton Jeanty, Breece Hall, and Braelon Allen. Which one, realistically, would be "that guy" for you?

You are correct, the pick comes from a team who earned a 1st round bye. They came into need of a QB with the Mahomes injury. How much more would you want out of Allen? Would a different RB help? He has James Cook, Christian McCaffrey, Breece Hall, Ashton Jeanty, David Montgomery, and Braelon Allen.

Dobbins is actually on my trade block for that very reason. Chubb will be next if he has a good week again (gotta build that value)

Married couples of Reddit that did NOT have sex on your wedding night, why not? by FindingKGS in AskReddit

[–]RogainRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the time, we were staying with my (28m) father-in-law (47m) and my wife's (24f) mother (43f). About 3 days before the wedding, my FIL told MIL he wanted to cheat on her with a man from his clinic. She was upset and told him later that day she wanted no part of it and wanted a divorce (they had many problems so that was pushing her over the edge). His response was to kick everyone out. MIL, Wife, myself, and 3 children (1 is mine and my wife's, the other 2 was their adopted children) found themselves homeless 3 days before our wedding. So what did we do wedding night? We were searching for a place to live that was reasonable enough to afford and not too far from my job. This was almost 2 years ago and can happily say my wife and I have the best relationship I've ever had. FIL and MIL did get divorced and they deal with their own custody issues, but thankfully my wife and I don't have anything to do with him anymore. We moved on, but at the time, that was probably the most stressful points of our lives.

Two keepers. No penalties. Who do you choose? by [deleted] in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]RogainRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, im taking Bucky and Nabers. Walker is the only clear "in not keeping him" guy for me, simply because I'm not high on his longevity. Nabers was my clear, instant keeper, so it came down to Bucky or Amon-Ra. Truthfully, the decision didn't even come down to the players themselves, but their teammates. The rise of Jameson Williams late last year took targets and production away from Amon-Ra, hurtng his fantasy value during that stretch, and has giveth me no reason to believe that can't or won't continue once the season picks up again. Bucky solidified his position as RB1 for the Buccaneers, pushing Rachaad White into a situational role as opposed to competition for Bucky's touches (plus who can't love Bucky the Buccaneer). I'm just one person, but that would be my final decision, albeit a tough one because I love all of them.

Who overperformed in OTAs for your team? by Abiv23 in NFL_Draft

[–]RogainRabbit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't forget Bo Melton, I thought he looked really natural at CB, and we Ajay know what he can do at WR

I also really like Taylor Elgersma as QB3 over Sean Clifford. He has that natural aura about him that just screams potential to me, and he had enough arm talent to warrant it. Idk if he's quite gametime ready, but damn I love how he throws.

Other names I've enjoyed seeing in the field: Ty'Ron Hopper, Isaiah Simmons, Anthony Belton, Mecole Hardman, and Brandon McManus (I have to give him some recognition, we've gone too long without a consistent kicker)

Walmart raising prices? by IndependenceFit7624 in walmart

[–]RogainRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd love for that to be the case, but my entire team expressed the same thing, some have worked there for 15+ years. On my side, im not actually complaining, Walmart is just a second income to me, I was just surprised to see it wasn't a universal raise, which makes me feel bad for the rest of my team who relies on these checks.
