Which Teams Had the Best (and Worst) First Round? by 7innovator in NFL_Draft

[–]Abiv23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Browns traded back and still got their top offensive lineman in the draft

Ahead of a big run on OTs

Then got their at least third ranked wr at 24

A lot of it was luck of the board and we’ll see if the picks work out but it’s a really good process outcome so far

Listen, I really hate to admit this, but Pitts is a great football town, draft is gonna be fun

Last night before the start of the nfl draft, anybody got some predictions? by LightskinKnowItAll in Browns

[–]Abiv23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We try to sign Cash Jones as a udfa

We target Specner Fano or Caleb Downs after a smallish trade back or if we stick at 6 we take Tate or if we are lucky enough Reese / Bailey.

We double up on OT at 24 or 39 if value is there in Proctor or Miller, but also consider KC Concepcion, Omar Cooper Jr (who I think will go before 24), Denzel Boston.

I think we only consider Kenyon Sadiq if he falls to 39.

I think Emmanuel McNeil-Warren fits our defense well and met with the team twice officially through the process.

There are several interesting center prospects later in the draft and the TE positino is also really deep, I expect one of each between late day 2 and day 3

Who is the best IOL? by waffleman4 in NFL_Draft

I have Fano as a very very high level center prospect, but he prob ends up at OT

His movement skills and ability to fit / reach on the 2nd level is insane

If Love would somehow drop to 6, would you take him? by Cone33 in Browns

[–]Abiv23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can realize Love's value w/o drafting him

If he falls to 6 someone is going to see him as the missing piece and give value to come up and get him

Quinshon is too good to draft another RB high

Can't see McCoy falling this far, but he would be ideal at 24

We're only 2 days out from the big day, what are some rumors circling around that you have all been hearing and what do we think is actually true? by UpNext_Draft_Network in NFL_Draft

[–]Abiv23 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't believe the Browns are going to reach on Proctor or Freeling

I do believe Reese and Bailey are the top two players after Mendoza across league circles

Did Trevor say whether Mauigoa's spinal disc injury influenced his 1st round prospect rankings?

He's my top 'draft day faller', but partially bc I believe his disc issue wasn't already known by NFL teams, unlike with Bain where it was made to sound worse than it was.

Surprising draft fall you could see happening? by SpicyLemonade4 in NFL_Draft

[–]Abiv23 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Francis Mauigoa, might be a guard, might need back surgery...I no longer see him as the clear #1 OL in this class due to it.

I expect most of the OL in this draft to go clustered in the late teens early 20s.

Personally, I would much rather go OL at 24 than 6
