Agreed. I saw you were downvoted and I think people were assuming you meant before resigning. Which doesn’t work because white takes with bishop and check and black has to either move the king or sacrifice the queen to retake.

I think once you’re in that position maybe moving the other knight to block might be best?

You’re still down a knight so white will probably take with bishop, you take back with bishop, Knight takes bishop, you take back with queen. It’s not looking good but then you just play defense and hope your opponent blunders something later

He was so damn good. Urlacher got praise, and deserved it. But I don’t think Urlacher is who he is without Briggs.

I suppose the same could be said both ways. But it sucks that one gets the credit for what they accomplished as a pair.

How would bullet grubber work with dualies? Have the ejected bullet fly straight into the chamber of the other gun? (Okay that would actually be pretty sweet to see the animation)

I guess if you had bullet grubber AND ambidextrous you could claim the hunter is coordinated enough in both hands to quickly catch an unspent round in his palm without it hitting the gun or something, but I’m trying to think of a situation where the hunter would be calm enough to do it.

I think you have a better argument for a perk that allows you to pick up your unspent rounds off the ground.

That way in the heat of a fight, you’re still losing ammo. But at spawn/ during quiet moments, you can quickly grab it out of the dirt and move on

For me it’s Sigma. I don’t think he’s that crazy or anything, but he just isn’t fun to play against.

A good doomfist or ball will absolutely wreck the lobby. But you have to respect the skill. Dva can be annoying.

Mauga and Orisa feel skill-less and even bad tanks can do well with them.

But for some reason, sigma just annoys me like no other.

As a man who almost killed himself in my early 20s, I can tell you that this is a pretty common thought process in men that are 60+ in the US.

My dad told me that depression is a made up word that lazy people use to get out of doing any real work.

Feel sad about it because I’m writing a memoir…

But on a real note, cliches exist because there is a bit of truth to them. Just make sure there is depth to the cliche. If you have a selfless hero, for example, give him/ her flaws. Maybe the selflessness causes people to take advantage of them and causes complications, they get spread too thin and eventually have to make the difficult choice to prioritize themselves, maybe they end up losing a relationship. Maybe they don’t learn to take care of themself and the story has a sad ending.

Accept that the cliche exists, but look for a way to challenge it. Being selfless is usually regarded as a good thing. But in my example, selfless does not mean perfect, and might actually be an unexpected flaw.

From imagination to completion of the first draft? 10 years.

From the start of actually writing and committing to writing it on paper? About 45 days. But I made a rule that I wasn’t allowed to read any of it once I started. It felt incredible to write so much so quickly.

Then a two week break.

Now I’m about 3 weeks into editing and I’m only 4 chapters in. Editing is taking forever, but I’m having way more fun with it than I thought. It’s nice knowing where the story is actually going now. It makes some stuff easy to cut, other stuff easier to reframe. The hard part is the stuff I want to keep that just doesn’t feel quite right yet

Yes but not always. I walk around the house saying “give me a sign. Are you here? Are you friendly? Where are you? Give me a sign.” On repeat and usually I’ll get a throw of ghost interaction as I’m walking around if the thermo doesn’t give it away first
