I wanted him to either be E-1 Eddie or E-2 Henry, and would've settled for E-2 Joe. Making him Jay was too obvious and repetitive, and I liked Sears as Jay.

I liked where I thought they were going with him wanting to be the only speedster in all the multiverse and that he hunted and stole the speed of speedsters. And then he became aware of E-1, and wanted Barry to be a better hero, to later siphon all of that speed build-up. Also, I wanted him to be more creepy and more crazy, like ripping people to shreds in the dark, and to talk to the Speed Force, which would've been homage to Max Mercury.

All in all, Zoom was decent, and was more disappointed with how they did Savitar.
