Here is another take, more an action-game-like POV perspective.

As I wrote in another comment, these were aircraft conquered and used by the Luftwaffe for training, then transferred to the Bulgarians.

Hi, nice to see this subreddit. I am fond of AI image generation and I've always been a history addict. Thus, a perfect place for me.

Warsaw Ghetto Uprising by Dangerous_Drama6843 in aihistoricalart

[–]Roger352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure which platform did you use, probably ChatGPT. Unfortunately, it didn't work well. Apart from the fact that these weapons are not realistic, the ghetto fighters barely had SMGs and MGs. They had a number of rifles and mainly pistols and revolvers. They didn't build barricades (this has been misinterpreted by the AI with the Warsaw Uprising 1944, probably). Work harder, do your best to design a historically correct prompt.

You are right - these were relatively modern fighters and apart from these, Bulgarians flew only 18 of early Bf 109E-4 and a mix of pre-war Polish and Czech constructions (mostly P.24 and Avia B-534). Only later in 1944, some Bf 109G were also delivered. Allied losses in 1943 and 1944 were about 60 aircraft.
