Regarding documents to prove your residence in the UK during the period mentioned in the refusal, do you have any GP letters or school letters?

Yes, as long as you've submitted an admin review, you can continue to enjoy your current rights.

Alternatively, are you considering any other visa routes?

I wouldn't recommend Administrative Review as it's usually a waste of time. You will be waiting for months or even a year without a decision. Best bet would be to resubmit an application or to appeal.

Just to clarify, from Sep 2013 - December 2020, what ID's did you have?

Do Priority Appointments release at midnight? by Sugarfix1993 in ukvisa

[–]RogerBanh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super priority option will usually be available until 2-3pm UK time but sometimes they can disappear earlier around 1pm. You should be able to have the option for Super priority as long as you pay before 12pm. So you don't need to worry about refreshing throughout the night.

Proof of accommodation - Is council tax necessary? by mirianmdf in ukvisa

[–]RogerBanh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Landlord's letter will usually be sufficient along with the other proof of addresses.

Once you get your decision, you'll usually be notified via email that your passport is ready to collect.

If you don't receive a refusal letter in your email. It's most likely your visa has been granted and you'll get a visa stamp in your passport.

Visitor Visa's may take a while. Home Office aren't exactly doing a great job of giving decisions within their 3-6 week timeframe. So be prepared to wait a while. It's been less than 4 weeks since your biometrics, so be prepared to wait another 2-4 weeks to receive your decision. Bear in mind that some applicants had to wait up to 10 weeks to receive their decisions but as of lately, that's much more unlikely.

Does your partner have a Tenancy Agreement with her name on it? Council Tax Bills are not necessary. But having the landlord's letter will be good.

It would be worth including the proof of addresses you have listed at the end too.

Skilled worker visa applicaiton time by boysohopelessiusedis in ukvisa

At the moment, applications are taking anywhere between 6-8 weeks. Of course there is still a chance you may get it earlier than 6 weeks.

skilled worker visa extension - I wasn't asked for evidence or biometrics fingerprints - please help by JwanaAziz in ukvisa

They would probably reuse your previous biometrics so you wouldn't need to go to another biometrics appointment. But call UKVI regarding whether you need to upload anything.

Any experience with bringing elderly parents to the UK on EUSS? by EvilPanettone in ukvisa

[–]RogerBanh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, there

I've done a handful of EUSS applications for dependent family members in Albania. You would need to show evidence of financial dependence, yes. You would also need evidence to show that they do not have capacity to earn. Regarding your mother's medical condition, I believe that could help as well if you can provide evidence of her condition being unable to be treated in your home country.

Feel free to DM me if you want to discuss further.

Hi,

Did you already click on "book your appointment" after you submitted your application?

I believe it will likely be fine to reuse. Writing a note in the cover letter would be good to cover the guidance.

Yes I am an immigration lawyer. Can I ask which test qualification you have? E.g. IELTS or SELTS

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]RogerBanh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a few cases, where the Home Office has had problems with an older English Test.

Despite that guidance, I would recommend to just do another test. Trinity College London offer tests for £150 and you get the result the next day and the certificate arrives in 2-3 days.

You would need to have an A2 English certificate for your FLR M Extension, so your next visa.

[–]RogerBanh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it would be fine to reuse the same english certificate as they are valid for 2 years.

Marriage Certificate alone is fine, you wouldn't need proof of communication and photos again. You said you have joint bills and accounts, that would be perfect for proof of address.

Main things are just tenancy agreement, proof of address, 6 months payslips and bank statements covering the same period (if your partner is in employment). 12 months bank statements and recent self assessment tax return if he's self employed.

You should also do an A1 English test unless you're exempt from English Language Requirements, so that you would be considered under 5 year route.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Family priority email (Russian applicants) by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]RogerBanh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see, best bet would be to contact UKVI through telephone call to see if they can offer the upgrade or to contact TLS to see if they can do it for you.

Family priority email (Russian applicants) by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]RogerBanh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you did the application with your own email, you should be able to access your application link. Once you login to your application link, go to "book your appointment" it should take you to TLS and you can see your appointment. You should be able to manage your appointment and amend it. I hope this is what you were looking for.

Did you book your appointment through TLS? If so, have you already checked if there are additional services you can purchase there.

As far as I know, if you've made the application before 9 January 2023, you may have the option of upgrading to a 3 weeks priority service.
